Mayawati Says BSP Will Contest All Elections Solo; No Major Role Yet for Akash Anand
Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati said her party will contest all elections across the country, major or minor, on its own. The announcement was made at an all-India meeting of the party held in Lucknow on Thursday, with the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election expressly included in that go-it-alone line.
Addressing senior leaders, she accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh of being “anti-bahujan” and anti-minority, and alleged it does not follow the Constitution.
